The functioning of the Russian banking system under modern conditions is influenced both by positive external economic factors and by domestic economic processes that create favorable conditions for the development of the banking sector market. For the stable functioning of the national economy in general and the banking system, in particular, significant cash is needed, an important part of which is the deposits (contributions) of physical persons. The researchers performed clusterization of the RF administrative territorial subdivisions in terms of key indicators influencing the amounts of private depositing. The article provides statistical evaluation of the degree of impact of relevant factors on the volumes of private funds raised by credit organizations. The research is methodologically based on dynamic and structural analysis, index analysis, cluster analysis and correlation-regression analysis. The article identifies methodological approaches to building-up of the models of interrelation between the dynamics in the volume of private deposits and the dynamics of major impact factors. The article proposes solutions for raising the volumes of private depositing by credit organizations of the country.
