OPTIONS PROMOTING THE STATE SELF-DEFENCE VIA SOFT POWER AND OUTSOURCING

Osterreicher, J.; Krakorova, I.
Abstract:
From 2008, an increase of Russian Federation ambitions has induced public demand in EU countries to strengthen their military power. A new recruitment wave is affected by economic struggle, previous downsize of overall equipment, still unfit legislation and low willingness of young generation to serve in order to protect our globalized society. When recent eligible pool of society does explicit difficulties to recruit, then gravity of our interest will have to be pulled to upcoming generation. Moreover, current military technologies need thorough training prolonging basic military service and consequently will affect an economic growth of any nation. Due to these factors mentioned above, there might be affordable solution via voluntary stratified pre-military training from grammar to high schools. It shortens costs, reduces mandatory basic service, improve patriotism as well as implements experience of former soldiers to the next generation. In addition, such pre-military training might be divided according to age, special affinity to particular weapons. Then, own military conscription time might be reduced to 6-12 months related to advanced technologies implemented into drills.
